Providing education opportunities across disciplines for students young and old in the local Asheville community

Formerly the A-B Tech Child Care Center, the Poplar building was repurposed to house portions of the Continuing Education Program. Specifically, pottery studios and support areas were relocated from another location on campus. The project addressed ADA compliance within the building and made necessary modifications to accommodate the programmatic needs of the pottery program, taking advantage of extensive natural daylighting and exterior patio space for studios. This project was the first in a series of projects to reorganize and expand various departments throughout the campus.
