A new local grocery chain brings community, quality, and convenience to North Mount Pleasant, SC.

This new Lowes Foods grocery store is the second location in the Charleston region. While the interior plan is consistent with the Lowes' brand prototype design, the building's exterior is a unique design resulting from close coordination with the Town of Mount Pleasant Design Review Board and the client to create a look that is sensitive to the local vernacular.

In conjunction with the grocery store, there is also roughly 20,000 SF of retail space created in two separate buildings. The site design is a village concept where the grocery and retail buildings complement each other aesthetically and are placed to encourage a wide variety of activities in between the spaces.
